College Admissions Counselor: Rob Adams

 

Rob Adams is a New York State certified school counselor who has been actively helping students and families with the college process for over 20 years. Rob provides personalized direction to each student based on the data he has gathered over the years and the numerous interactions he has had with college admissions’ representatives.

Rob has a caseload of over 200 students where he engages in all aspects of counseling, including working with students with IEPs, special needs, and beyond. Rob truly enjoys helping students and families with their journey and will be available to answer any questions or concerns that the college process unearths.

Rob belongs to several organizations including NACAC, ASCA, WPRCA, and he attends conferences regularly to gain additional insight on the latest trends. College admissions’ ever-changing landscape makes having an informed list of schools essential. Rob has visited hundreds of schools over the years and has in-depth knowledge beyond what publications may offer. More importantly, he cares about the process and placement for all of his students. Possessing educational degrees from New Paltz, Long Island University, and Stony Brook, Rob comes with a wealth of education and experience. His goal is to take the stress out of a stressful process.
